Statistics say that a visit to Florence lasts in average 2,7 days. This time might be sufficient to visit the known places of interest like the Cathedral Santa Maria del Fiore, the Giotto Bell tower, the Uffizi, the Ponte Vecchio, the Palazzo Pitti and the Galleria dell’Accademia with its David of Michelangelo. Still there is time for shopping, restaurant and a detour to the Piazzale Michelangelo with its amazing view and panorama over Florence. This is more than enough for a short stay, but somebody might fall in love with this city and regrets not to stay longer.
